The 8th of August is the peak of the Lionsgate Portal when the alignment of certain planets brings a downpour of spiritual energy.
Known as the Lionsgate or Lion’s Gate, the Portal opens between 26th July and 12th August, with the optimum energy being on the 8th. It occurs when Sirius, Earth, and the Sun, in the sign of Leo, align with the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx.
This combination of numerology and astrology – the 8th of the 8th, the Sun in Leo, and the rising of the star, Sirius, opens a galactic portal that allows high vibrational energy to be sent to Earth.
The number eight is a special number. Written on its side it becomes the symbol of infinity. The number itself represents power.
It’s the most musical number representing the octave. It’s strongly connected with religion, law, and judgement, through its symbolic shape of seeing both sides of the story.
It embraces an upper world of spirit and philosophy and a lower world of physicality and materialism. Often referred to as the money number. Although eight isn’t just about money, it’s all about finding the correct balance between achievement and physiological enquiry.
The two circles of the number are about balance – male/female, weak/strong, demanding/ yielding, sorrow/joy. The two circles are also a symbol for connecting heaven with Earth – as above, so below.
Working with the vibration of the number 8 brings you into balance.
When 8 combines with another 8 (8th of 8th month), it makes 88. 88 is the vibration of your I AM or Monad. Monad is another label for your soul group. It’s a higher more whole aspect of you. Your Monad extends from the Creator. Many souls extend from your Monad and you are one of those extensions.
The sign of Leo is about true positive power, courage, creativity, inspiration, and love.
Sirius is one of the brightest stars in the sky and is known as our Spiritual Sun. Sirius rising at this time of year was a special and sacred occasion and marked the start of the new year, a time of abundance, prosperity, and fertility.
While our Sun beams down life for our physical bodies. Sirius beams down life for our spiritual bodies.
This is a time to dream big and think about what your heart and soul desire. This is a powerful time to manifest. Tap into the energy of the lion to gain the courage to move forward onto your next step and the determination to do whatever it takes to follow through. Remember that gratitude is an essential component of successful manifestation.
You can connect with this energy by using your intent to tune in with it. Here are some of my favourite ways to connect with this energy:
- You can sit quietly in meditation and use your intent to access this energy.
- Draw the figure 8 and run your finger around it whilst thinking about want you want to manifest.
- Draw out a figure of eight on the ground and walk it with the intention of connecting with your soul wisdom.
- Make a crystal grid in the shape of 8, and leave it in place until 12th August.
